I am Kelly, wife to David (August 2003) and stay-at-home-mama to Judith (November 2005), Gideon (April 2008) and Ruthie (December 2009). I am also training to be a doula. We are currently home-educating our kids, and lean towards a more natural lifestyle. We are a not-so-mainstream Christian family.

Thanks for your comment. I just wish I could figure out something now. So would my husband. I don't want to paint him as a demanding spouse but I do all I can and he still walks in the door each day and starts pointing to all the things that are out of place and asking why certain things are dirty or why messes are still there from the morning (or previous day)! Sometimes he helps but I think he sees that as him doing MY JOB for me and sees me as slacking and not doing my part as a SAHM. He will occasionally make snide comments like "maybe we should hire you a nanny so you can clean..." or "maybe you need a housekeeper if you can't do it yourself!" which makes me feel lazy but I do as much as I truly can without leaving my daughter in a playpen all day. Even now I feel like I do that too much so that I can get dressed and cook meals for us during the day. Then I'm up for hours after she goes to bed at night catching up on housework. I am then exahusted all day!! I feel like I will NEVER find a rhythm that works.
